A founder member of the highly influential and revered BAUHAUS. Bauhaus
spearheaded the post-punk Alternative music scene of the early ‘80’s with a string of innovative albums and singles, including, for many, perhaps their defining moment, a song that is ranked as a classic and feasibly the pinnacle of the entire Gothic scene and beyond, the nine minute plus epic slab of industrial dub that is ‘Bela Lugosi’s Dead’, featuring the lyrics of David J.
Two years after the demise of Bauhaus in 1983, David regrouped with two of his former Bauhaus band mates, guitarist, Daniel Ash and drummer, Kevin Haskins to form the hugely successful Love And Rockets, whose debut single hit gold status in Canada, followed by a top three US single with ‘So Alive’ which the band capped with a million selling album and sold out stadium tours.

A highly acclaimed songwriter, often personal, often observational, all of these
qualities are evident on his twelve solo albums. David has also written and
directed various stage productions. His memoir, ‘Who Killed Mister Moonlight?’ (Bauhaus, Black Magick and Benediction) was published by Jawbone Press in 2014. A new book of poetry, ‘Rhapsody, Threnody and Prayer’ was published in 2026. His latest album, ‘Songs From The Attic Revisited’ was released this year by Independent Project Records to great acclaim. It will be followed by an ambitious strings-centric double album, ‘Postcards From The Afterlife’ in late November.

David J writes: “The album is essentially about the poignant persistence of
connection, be it in life or in death. Schisms and transitions. Love found and love lost. Requiems, reflection and revelation.”

Paul Wallfisch

Paul has contributed to dozens of albums and toured North & South America, Europe and Asia performing and/or recording with Swans, Firewater, Love & Rockets, Congo Norvell, Angela McCluskey, Syl Sylvain, Stiv Bators, Anne Pigalle, Johnny Haliday, Marissa Nadler, Rose McGowan, Joey Arias and many more. He is the long-standing writing and performing partner of underground tortured soul legend Little Annie. Joining Swans in 2016, Paul toured with the band for two years, appearing on the 2017 live album Deliquescence and  2019’s Leaving Meaning, (Young God/Mute Records)

The Heart of a Whale, a duo album with Dana Schechter, (Swans), came out on Trost Records in 2025. An  Egon Schiele inspired song cycle written with David J, (Bauhaus), will be released on Independent Project Records in 2026.

Fiona Brice

FIONA BRICE is a British composer, arranger & multi-instrumentalist (violin, piano, voice) whose music merges contemporary classical and indie alternative worlds.  She is recognised internationally as an orchestral arranger and session musician, writing, recording & touring with high profile artists inc. Placebo, John Grant, elbow, Kelly Jones, Stereophonics, Johnny Marr, Anna Calvi, Liam Gallagher, The Libertines, Phoebe Bridgers, Vashti Bunyan, Roy Harper.  Her large-scale orchestral a collaborations with many of the above artists & the BBC Philharmonic, BBC Concert Orchestra, Royal Northern Sinfonia, RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Iceland Symphony Orchestra, Heritage Orchestra & London Mozart Players have been broadcast on BBC Radio 2,3,4,5 & 6 and she is a regular orchestrator for BBC Radio 2 Piano Rooms and the BBC Proms. As a solo artist she is signed to Bella Union records.
